Rummy 45 scoring
At the end of each round every player’s points are added up. The player with the most points after all the rounds of the match wins.
Tile values
| Tile | Points |
|---|---|
| 2 – 9 | 5 |
| 10 – 13 | 10 |
| Ace (1) | 25 |
| Joker | 50 |
What you score in a round
- Tiles on the table: the value of every tile you laid down or added to melds.
- Atu: 50 extra points if you laid down a tile identical to the Atu.
- Going out: a 50-point bonus for the player who goes out.
What you lose
- If you haven’t melded when someone goes out: −100 points.
- If you have melded but still have tiles on your rack: you lose the value of the tiles left (see the table above).
- If you leave the match before it ends: a 200-point penalty, and the computer takes your seat.
Double rounds
- If the Atu is a 1 (Ace) or a joker, the whole round scores double for every player.
- If you go out by discarding a joker, your points for the round are doubled.
- The two stack: going out with a joker in a double round means ×4 for the player who goes out.
Example
You laid down tiles worth 120 points and went out: 120 + 50 = 170 points. If the Atu was an Ace, the round is double: 340 points. An opponent who melded but was left with a 10 and an Ace on their rack loses 10 + 25 = 35 points from their points on the table.
